IOS VS ANDROID: Better Mobile Phone?

Every one of us has heard about the two giant mobile phone operating systems i.e IOS and ANDROID. It’s become a matter of fact that there are android fans and IOS fans. If you’re a newbie in this market you would be thinking “which one should I go for?”. Worry not here I will compare both of them and let you all know the pros and cons of these two systems.

Some people will never give up their apple phone for Samsung no matter what happens and on the other side, some people will tell you that they are over-priced and they’re not suitable for you.

History and Introduction:

Let’s understand some history of both of these companies.

The company android Inc. was founded by a group of guys in 2003 and the famous one is Andy Rubin. To your surprise first, the idea was to create the OS for digital cameras and not for phones but soon global digitalization had made them think otherwise. The first android phone was the T-Mobile G1.

In 2007 Apple released its champ card the iPhone with its new OS. The first of the system is called iPhone OS1. Historically, The first built iPhones are very expensive and thus they’re considered to be only used by techno gods.

Now given you some history let’s move to the comparison one by one.

Prices

The main backfire that every iPhone receives is that it is much expensive since it comes at the base price of 499$. However first android phone launched at $179. But this is not a good argument many high-end Android phones are also very expensive now.

User Preference:

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s plus were bought by over 220 million around the world. However, the best-selling android phone was the Samsung Galaxy S4 bought by 80 million users. But this is a tough competition and both done well still iPhone got the little edge in this.

Market Share:

If you look into the history of mobile phone market, you’ll find that iPhone was unstoppable and android was barely getting out of the blocks in the market share of 2009. But in markets, things vary from time to time, and in 2013 Android has enjoyed an 80 percent market share. No one can deny that Apple has devoted fans but it’s also a fact that android is the king of the market. In 2021 many lists don’t even include iPhone their lists and mostly Samsung and Huawei are heading the race. Experts say that the iPhone market is going down because people think that they can get a better machine with less price

Apps Available:

The number of apps available for Android is approximately 3.5 million, while for iPhone it’s 2.5 million. Regarding apps, some people say that Apple may have less but they are quality apps. What you think depends upon you.

Maps:

Regarding the maps mostly people say that google maps are far better than apple maps but yes apple maps are getting better day by day who knows it may cross google maps in the future.

Battery Life:

While buying people are mostly concerned about the battery life of their phones since they don’t their phones to leave them when they need the phone most importantly. The iPhone doesn’t have a bad battery at all but then again you can find some android phone with superior battery performance

Feature Addition:

When it comes to adding new futures, some bug fixes, and security updates Apple is far ahead of android. In case of sheer simplicity to people think apple is ahead.

Best Return:

Now, what if you want to sell your phone and want to buy a new one. Which one offers a greater return? No one disagrees at this point, It’s iPhone. You can get a good amount of money for an iPhone two years old.

Your Choice Matters:

After reading this you would have understood, that people prefer the system based on their taste. Some love iPhone while other love androids. However, if I have to suggest you then you should go for android if you’re tight on budget and want a good phone. But then again, some iPhones are there which are slightly higher in prices but offer good quality. What you think is good just go for it.
